SDLT 320

The SDLT 320 represents a major advance in capacity and performance. It offers the lowest cost per GB of any other storage solution on the market and, as part of the DLTtape product family, enjoys the highest industry acceptance. The SDLT 320 is backward read compatible with DLTtape IV media and uses the same Super DLTtape I cartridges as the SDLT 220, preserving your data storage investments. Specifically designed for the high duty-cycle requirements of high-end and automated environments, the SDLT 320 is the ultimate solution for today’s demanding backup needs.

The ideal choice for high-end and automated environments, the SDLT 320 is designed for high duty-cycle with a rating of 250,000 hours MTBF at a 100% duty cycle. It can backup 115 GB per hour (in compressed mode), and can store 320 GB on a single cartridge (compressed) offering the lowest cost per GB and the highest storage density around. The SDLT 320 is backward read compatible with DLTtape IV media and uses the same Super DLTtape I cartridges as the SDLT 220 allowing seamless migration to Super DLTtape and preservation of your data storage investments. It is also fully compatible with the leading server brands, operating systems and backup software.
