is critical, the Sun StorEdge L180 tape library is an ideal solution. The
scalable, Sun StorEdge L180 tape library accommodates up to 10 drives, and comes
in a base configuration of 80 cartridges. A cartridge expansion kit is available
to increase the cartridge count to 180. You have a choice of 9840 drive
technology for high performance, delivering 10-MB/ sec throughput, or DLT7000
drives for up to 6.09 TB of capacity. Or you can combine drive types for
multimedia library capabilities. Either way, you still benefit from
ultra-reliable robotics, simple unattended backup capabilities, remote
monitoring, and more all in a small-footprint library.
