Unisys DLT 7000 and DLT 8000

The Unisys DSD 7000/8000 family of DLT tape drives and autoloaders consist of DLT tape drive technology combined with a seven-tape DLT autoloader that provides a full week or more of unattended network backup. Using the DSD series instead of standalone tape drives eliminates the need for daily tape loading, reduces the time spent on backup and recovery, and increases data security.

The DSD 7000/8000 family of drives and autoloaders is easy to install and use. It's small enough to sit on top of a server; in rack systems, one or two units mount in only 7 vertical inches (4u). Its clear menu system makes operation easy. With a choice of DLT7000 or DLT8000 drives, Unisys DSD series offers the industry's widest range of price/performance options.
